Austin St. John Returning For Power Rangers Beast Morphers

Spread the word!

The original Red Ranger from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is returning for a special teamup on Power Rangers Beast Morphers! Portrayed by actor Austin St. John, Jason Scott will make his first return to the Power Rangers TV show since hanging up his cleats after ‘Forever Red’, the special 10th anniversary teamup during Power Rangers Wild Force.

The teamup episode will not take place until Power Rangers Beast Morphers‘ second season, due to air on Nickelodeon in 2020. The cast of Power Rangers Beast Morphers is currently in New Zealand wrapping up filming on their second season.

Austin St. John also portrayed the Gold Ranger on Power Rangers Zeo.

The teamup episode is expected to adapt footage from the dino-themed team-up featuring Super Sentai’s Zyuranger, Abaranger, & Kyoryuger (known as Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Power Rangers Dino Thunder, & Power Rangers Dino Charge overseas).

Rumors suggest that other legendary Power Rangers may return for the teamup episode, including Brennan Mejia (Tyler the Red Ranger from Power Rangers Dino Charge), Yoshi Sudarso (Koda the Blue Ranger from Power Rangers Dino Charge), and James Davies (Chase the Black Ranger from Power Rangers Dino Charge).

Photos of characters from Power Rangers Dino Charge on the set of Power Rangers Beast Morphers had previously leaked online, including Keeper and an army of Vivix.

Fans will have to wait until 2020 to find out more about Hasbro’s plans for the legendary Red Rangers’ return!

Power Rangers Beast Morphers will have 22 episodes, and air on Nickelodeon throughout 2019 (click here to recap). Episodes currently air every Saturday at 8am ET on Nickelodeon.
