Where is the Avengers: Infinity War trailer?
That’s been the question on everyone’s mind since the trailer debuted at Disney’s D23 convention and San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year. Leaked versions of the trailer, captured from those in attendance wielding handheld cameras, found their way to YouTube and Vimeo, but an official version never came.
To say that fans have started to get antsy about when the trailer will arrive is the mother of all understatements. Petitions have been launched, Twitter campaigns ordered and threats against Marvel as a whole issued.
Everyone from Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige to co-president Louis D’Esposito have addressed the matter, both confirming that it would be released before the end of the year, but there’s no exact date at this time.
All I can say is that I love it and I hope all you feel the same. It’s currently being finished so it’s not ready yet. https://t.co/AIKdY5sgkF

Today, Anthony and Joe Russo, directors on Avengers: Infinity War, released a trollish video of a commercial for Paul Mason’s California wine starring Orson Welles. In the commercial, Welles talks about how a masterpiece can’t be rushed and no bottle of wine would be released before it was perfect. It’s a stretch to claim there’s a comparison to be made between the quality of wine and Marvel’s Infinity War trailer, but that doesn’t stop the Russo brothers from making it.
The version of the Infinity War trailer that Marvel plans to release will be different than what fans saw at D23 and San Diego Comic-Con. When that trailer comes isn’t known, but don’t be surprised if it’s attached to Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
Avengers: Infinity War will be released on May 4, 2018.
