Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War multiplayer footage leaks online

Spread the word!

New footage from Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s multiplayer mode has leaked online ahead of its official reveal next week.

The four-minute clip originated on Twitch, according to USgamer, and was uploaded to YouTube this morning. In the footage, two teams of six fight on a Miami-themed map in a VIP Escort game mode, which requires one team to escort an NPC to an extraction zone while the other tries to stop them. We’re shown a good portion of the map during the short clip, as players run through the colorful city streets, using cars and buildings for cover.

The map looks relatively small, but with tons of corners to hide in.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is a direct sequel to the first Black Ops game, developer Raven Software said in August. It’s set in 1989 during the height of the long-simmering conflict between the Soviet Union (USSR) and U.S. — the Cold War.

Official information on Black Ops Cold War’s multiplayer is expected on Sept. 9. Its release date is scheduled for Nov. 13 on PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One. Black Ops Cold War will also be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X when those consoles are released this holiday.
