Horizon: Zero Dawn is coming to PC this summer, Head of PlayStation Worldwide Studios Hermen Hulst has confirmed. Hulst, who co-founded and managed Horizon developer Guerrilla Games before being promoted, casually drops the confirmation in a new interview that’s been posted to the official PlayStation Blog.
“Yes, I can confirm that Horizon Zero Dawn is coming to PC this summer…. There will be more information coming from Guerrilla, from the new studio directors [Michiel van der Leeuw, JB van Beek, and Angie Smets] pretty soon,” says Hulst.
A PC port of Horizon has been rumoured for at least a couple of months now, and it’s always been a controversial topic among some PlayStation fans. After all, this is a first-party PS4 exclusive we’re talking about.
“I think it’s important that we stay open to new ideas of how to introduce more people to PlayStation, and show people maybe what they’ve been missing out on,” Hulst explains.
