With Rage 2’s launch impending, Bethesda has seen fit to reveal the official system requirements for the very loud post-apocalyptic shooter. Only minimum and recommended requirements have been listed, and it’s not clear what performance we should be expected to get with them. Check them out below to see if your PC is up to snuff.
Minimum
- A 64-bit processor and operating system is required
- OS: Windows 7, 8.1, or 10 (64-Bit version
- Processor: Intel Core i5-3570 or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X
- Memory: 8GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GTX 780 3GB or AMD R9 280 3GB
- Storage: 50 GB available space
Recommended
- A 64-bit processor and operating system is required
- OS: Windows 7, 8.1, or 10 (64-Bit versions)
- Processor: Intel Core i7-4770 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X
- Memory: 8GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GTX 1070 8GB or AMD Vega 56 8GB
- Storage: 50 GB available space
The recommended requirements, which typically mean 1080p, 60fps and high graphics settings, are fairly steep, comparable to the Metro Exodus requirements. If those are the settings recommended is aimed at, we’ll probably be looking at a 1080 Ti or even a 2080 Ti to play Rage in 1440p or 4K.
