In conjunction with the release of The Last Blade: Beyond the Destiny for the Nintendo Switch, SNK announced today that a character from The Last Blade will be joining the Samurai Shodown roster of fighters as part of their Season Pass 3 announced in July.
“I am proud to announce that we will be bringing a character from The Last Blade to the Samurai Shodown Season Pass 3,” said Samurai Shodown director Hayato Konya in a special video message.
SNK’s producer Yasuyuki Oda added, “Wow! It’s that old man, Genbu no Okina, right? “

Samurai Shodown is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PC via the Epic Games Store and Stadia. An Xbox Series version is due out this summer (in the southern hemisphere).
