During Nintendo’s 2019 E3 Direct, the company showed off more gameplay from the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening remake. However, one important, but small thing, missed appearing in the Nintendo Direct: an adorable amiibo of Link.
The amiibo is adorable and has the small-but-serious version of Link standing proudly with his sword and shield on top of the amiibo pedestal. There’s no word yet about what functionality this little boy adds to the game, but honestly, do you really need a functional reason to buy this cute guy?
The amiibo is also notably more shiny than the other ones, which have a more matte painted look and finer details. It matches very well with the colors and style being used in Link’s Awakening. His scowl is so serious, but how simple and cute he is makes our heart melt.
