It takes a certain level of cool to dethrone Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War for most anticipated movie, but Black Panther has done it.
The second trailer for the movie, which can be seen above, further tells the story of Black Panther’s quest to defend Wakanda from the outside world and stop an uprising from occurring within.
Those who waited in line for hours — if not days — at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this summer would have seen a similar trailer in Hall H first. Although this isn’t the same trailer, many of those same scenes are included in the one published today. The biggest difference is the focus on Michael B. Jordan’s intriguing Erik Killmonger.
The reaction to the trailer seen by the thousands of people collected in Comic Con’s biggest room reconfirmed that Black Panther is one of the most anticipated movies to be released by Marvel in a very long time. This new trailer just reiterates that feeling.
Black Panther will be released on Feb. 16, 2018.
